About Blitz

Blitz has since 1982 been a self-driven youth house and center for radical leftwing activism in Oslo.

The house includes, among other things, Café Blitz which sells cheap vegan food, Radiorakel - the worlds oldest feminist radio station, the infoshop with political literature, practice room for bands, group room for direct action groups. And of course, Norways most important and oldest venue for punk, hardcore and other subcultural expression.

Blitz has and will always continue to be based on the do-it-yourself principle and be a safe space for everyone regardless of gender identity, skin color, sexuality, ethnicity, nationality, or religion. Blitz will always continue to fight capitalism, fascism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, zionism, and for any land or people occupied and oppressed.
